Boston Wedding Venue Experience
Have You Shot The Venue Before?
Often I’m asked, “Have you shot at our venue before?”
I’m going to be completely honest and tell you that it doesn’t matter.
Whether I’ve shot at a venue many times or the venue is brand new to me, I always do my homework and review the venue beforehand. Any professional photographer will (should). We have no desire to be caught off guard any more than you have a desire to have an inexperienced photographer.
I always make it a point to speak with the coordinator before the event as they can always provide me with the best views, backdrops and locations for bridal preparations. They can always let me know if there is any construction or change that may be on the horizon.
Because even if I’ve shot at a venue before, with renovations and restructuring, orientation can change within a week. And any changes require flexibility and a shift in perspective to always find that perfect light and the best shot to tell the story.
