Holiday Family Photos

These Boston Public Garden Holiday Family Photos are some of my absolute favorites. And while the quote above never rang more true than during the particular Sunday on which we shot these photos, the blustery feel was quite lovely. Who would have guessed that waiting until just before Thanksgiving would allow for the Public Gardens to finally show signs of fall in New England?

It was a chilly day and these images were captured in about 30 minutes, as a new baby can only last so long in the cold (sometimes even a not so new photographer can only last so long in the cold too!), but the colors and the love and the soft side of the city that shows in these images is really the reason that I love shooting these types of sessions.

And, honestly, how cute is that little baby? Doesn’t he just give you holiday baby fever?
